Parish Lenten Programme

‘No Greater Love’ is a  Lenten programme, based around a series of short films shot on location in the Holy Land.   Over five weeks we are given the opportunity to walk step-by-step with Jesus through the scriptures from the garden of Gethsemane to Mount Calvary.  The short films are presented by Edward Sri who leads us on a biblical pilgrimage that reveals Christ’s amazing love for us.

Due to the current situation with the coronavirus, the remainder of our Parish Lenten Programme, No Greater Love, has been cancelled.

We, as the Parish Pastoral Council, are very disappointed that we will be unable to conclude the programme as a parish community.

However, the good news is that Ascension Press has very kindly made all of the DVD sessions available online until the end of April 2020. This will allow you to view the entire programme from the comfort of your own home. As well as the five sessions in the programme, a bonus session entitled The Resurrection is also included.

For access to the DVD sessions, (approximately 30 minutes each) and the bonus session, please click here.

The weekly session material is also available below to view online or download/print.

Session 1 – The Prayer of the Agony

Session 2 – Are You the Christ?

Session 3 – The Trial before Pilate

Session 4 – The Death of the Messiah

Session 5 – The Seven Last Words

Please feel free to share this material with those who would like to journey on this biblical pilgrimage and experience Christ’s amazing love for us.

If you have any problems with accessing the material or would like to get in touch, you can reach the Parish Pastoral Council by email on
