WALKING WITH JESUS ALONG THE VIA DOLOROSA

March 10th, 2022

Due to concerns with regards to the pandemic,  St. Bernadette’s Parish Pastoral Council is unable to run their usual Parish Lenten programme this year. However, our Parish Pastoral Council, working together with Holy Rosary Pastoral Council, is offering an excellent “Living Church” programme, “Walking with Jesus along the Via Dolorosa”. We are inviting you to join us on a spiritual Lenten journey with Jesus as He willingly takes up the Cross for us.  Over five weeks, beginning on Saturday 12th March, the programme will be available on our Parish website (under our Lenten Resources 2022 section of the website) as a prayerful audio recording, which will be presented jointly by members of our Parish Pastoral Councils and our parishioners. Weekly audio recordings will be complimented with reflective music and visual images. A participant’s leaflet will be available on the parish website and available to collect from the church each week to help accompany you on the journey.

We hope that you will be able to join with us as we journey on the Via Dolorosa and towards Holy Week.

Other materials, readings, reflections, and prayers will also be available to all on our Parish Website along with suggestions for creating a more prayerful and spiritual atmosphere in our homes this Lent. Please visit our Lenten Resources 2022 section of the website for additional resources.
